LANCASTER, Aug. 28 — (Special) — Mrs. Vermell Dennis Furr, 66, wife of Charlie Furr of 706 Central Avenue, died suddenly Monday of a heart attack at her home. She was the daughter of the late Drayton and Eliza Dennis of Dillon County. Mrs. Furr is survived by her husband; four daughters, Mrs. J. B. Johnson, Mrs. Isrell Hartley and Mrs. John Hartley, all of Lancaster, and Mrs. Luzetty Gregory of Rock Hill; two sons, Hazel Furr of Lancaster and Codell Furr of Chester, Penn.; 13 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Funeral plans are incomplete.The State, Columbia, South Carolina, August 29, 1956
