Death
Graveside services for Paul Clarence Furr, 76, were held Monday at 1 p.m. at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Mission with the Rev. Dale Hasson of the First United Methodist Church officiating. Mr. Furr died Sunday at Retama Manor Nursing Home. He was born in Louisiana and had lived in Rio Grande City for several years. He was a retired oil field worker. Survivors include two sons, Hugh Furr, of Palestine and Bobby Ray Furr of Many, La.; one daughter, Mrs. Pauline Claire Coffey of Many; one brother Faye Furr of Phoeniz, Ariz.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Arrangements were under direction of Virgil Wilson Mortuary of McAllen.The Monitor, McAllen, Texas, March 6, 1979
