RAY, James J. The Atlanta Constitution, 9 July 1921. Farmer Drops Dead Talking to Neighbor. Lula, Ga., July 8-1921 J. J. Ray, a well known farmer of Banks county, dropped dead at his home Wednesday afternoon, while talking with a neighbor. He had been at work the day before and seemed in his ordinary good humor when he fell out of his chair. He owned a great deal of land, and was active in public affairs.Endnotes
