Death
ALBEMARLE ~ Clara Jurlean Furr Redwine, 59, of Highway 52 South, died at 4 25 am. Wednesday. ‘Sept 23, 1992, at Mercy Hospital, Charlotte. The funeral will be at 4 pm Friday at Hartsell Funeral Home, Lefler Memorial Chapel, Albemarle, conducted by the Rev Darrell Cook Burlal will be at Fairview Memorial Park. The family will be at the funeral home tonight from 7 to 9. Born Oct 17, 1932, in West End, Moore County, Mrs Redwine was a daughter of the late Tillman Lee Furr and the late Minnie Lee Green Furr Hinson. Employed as a creeler in the tufting department of Collins and Aikman of Albemarle, she attended New Hope Baptist Church. Her husband, Jesse Calvin Redwin. preceded her in death. Survivors include three sons, David Joe Redwine of Norwood and Jesse Calvin Redwine Jr and Donald Eugene ‘Donnie’ Redwine, both of Albemarle, three brothers. JD Furr of Richfield and the Rev Mahlon Lee Furr and Colan B Furr. both of Albemarle; four sisters, Eltis Lankford of Thomasville, Edna Bailey of New London and Alma Harwood and Ramelle Norton, both of Albemarle; four stepsisters Ruby Earnhardt of Kannapolis, Joyce Lambert of Mount Pleasant, Ramelle Regan of Concord and Willene Belvin of Lake Norman and nine grandchildren.Endnotes
