Death
SANFORD - Mrs. Doris Jean Furr Wilson, 69, of Sanford died Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009. Services: Graveside, 2 p.m. Wednesday in West End Cemetery. Visitation, 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home in Sanford. Survived by: Sons, Ronnie and Dale; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.Published in Fayetteville Observer on November 23, 2009
Doris Jean Furr Wilson, 69 of Sanford died, Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009, at her residence. Mrs. Wilson was born in Henderson County, NC to the late Charlie Furr and Edith Hall Davis Furr. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Phillis Garland Wilson and a son Phill Darren Wilson. Surviving relatives are two sons, Ronnie G. Wilson and wife Sigrid of Sanford and Dale Wayne Wilson of Sanford; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2009, from 6 to 8 PM at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home. A graveside will be held Wed., Nov. 25, 2009 at 2 PM at the West End Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Doris Wilson Memorial Fund, C/O Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home, 600 W. Main St., Sanford, NC 27332 or to Ronnie Wilson, 409 Blakely Rd., Sanford, NC 27332.
