Notes
Marriage
A most beautiful home wedding took place Saturday at N. N. Furr’s when their attractive daughter, Miss Nellie, became the bride of Fulton Hathcock. Rev. W. J. Russell, pastor of the bride, officiated, the ceremony being performed in the parlor which was beautifully decorated in colors of white and yellow. Miss Elma Furr, sister of the bride, presided as the piano as the party wended its way from, the living-room to the parlor where a large number of relatives and friends witnessed the union. The bride was beautifully attired in white satin trimmed with silver lace with white hat and slippers to match. After the marriage an elaborate supper was served to more than half a hundred guests. Mrs. Hathcock has been the efficient secretary and treasurer of the Baptist Sunday school here for a number of years and will be missed from her place. The groom is a son of Air. Lee Hathcock and is an industrious young man who holds a position in Kannapolis where the happy couple will make their home. They have the good wishes of many friends.Endnotes
