Death
Miss Esther Furr, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Furr, was found dead in bed at the home of her parents, who live on Mr. Paul Stallings’ farm in No. 1 township, yesterday morning. Miss Furr retired Wednesday night in apparently good health and the members of her family were greatly shocked to discover that she was dead when found yesterday morning. The funeral was held this afternoon at Rocky Ridge church.Independent Tribune, Concord, North Carolina, December 5, 1913
