Death
Concord. — Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Roberta Presbyterian Church for Mrs. Bessie Jane Lambert, 51, who died late Tuesday night at her home near Harrisburg. Interment will be in the cemetery of the church. The daughter of the late George and Mary Magdalene Blackwelder Furr, Mrs. Lambert was born June 25, 1892 in Cabarrus County. Surviving are her husband, M. L. Lambert; one daughter, Lillian Lambert of the home; one sister, Mrs. W. P. Karriker of Concord: an adopted son, Perry Chase of Kannapolis; two step - daughters, Mrs. Charles Honeycutt of Harrisburg, Mrs. Glenn Cleaver of Concord; and a step-son, Arthur Lambert of Concord.The News and Observer, Raleigh, North Carolina, January 14, 1943
