Death
Daniel Alan Furr, 25, of Charlotte, NC, died in an automobile accident at 11 p.m. on Saturday, September 21, 2002. Danny was a loving son, devoted husband and father. His memory will carry on through his three-year old son, Tyler Austin Furr, wife Heather Christine Furr, parents, Marshall (Pete) Furr and Margaret Ann Furr of Charlotte; grandparents, George and Nadine Whitley of Concord and grandmother, Lucy Troutman of Charlotte; brothers and sisters, Lori Roberts (Junior) of Mt. Gilead, NC, Marshall Dale Furr of Charlotte, Lisa Ward (Scott) of Charlotte; nieces and nephews, Marshall Furr, Daniel Roberts, Holly Roberts, Chase Ward and Brock Ward; sister-in-law, Erin Camp Revels (Andy); mother-in-law and father-in-law, Dave and Coleen Camp of Charlotte; and Heather's grandmother, Mrs. Hazel Camp. Danny graduated from Garinger High School in Charlotte and was an electricians apprentice for Action Electric in Mint Hill. Danny will be missed dearly by all of his friends and family. Daniel had been called to serve the Lord and will take a piece of everyone's heart to heaven with him. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 24, 2002 from 7 to 9 p.m. at McEwen Mint Hill Chapel. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 25, 2002 at McEwen Mint Hill Chapel. Graveside services will be at 12 noon on Wednesday at Liberty Hill Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Hwy 24/27, Oakboro, NC.Arrangements by McEwen Funeral and Cremation Service, Mint Hill Chapel.
