Death
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday in Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel for Mrs. Josie Furr, age 91, 305 South Tennessee, who died Friday morning in a McKinney nursing home. She was born in Texas, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James L. Faires, and married Lon G, Furr in 1910 in Fort Worth. He preceeded (sic) her in death in July 1965. She was a member of the Methodist faith. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Mary Lee Bell and a grandson, David Bell, both of McKinney. Rev. Jack Smith will conduct the services. Interment will be in Pecan Grove Cemetery.The Courier-Gazette, McKinney, Texas, March 31, 1972
