Death
Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Ellen Furr, 48, who died in Stillwater, Tuesday, September 30, were held Wednesday afternoon at the Strode Funeral Home, with the Rev. 0. L. Gibson officiating. The body was sent to Talihina to be buried by the side of the deceased’s husband, who died in 1910. Mrs. Furr is survived by a son, Paul R. Furr; three daughters, Francse Louise of Gatun, Panama Canal Zone; Mildred and Dorothy, Stillwater; two sisters, Mrs. J. R. Reed, New Orleans, La., and Mrs. W. L. Emmert, Talihina, and three brothers, J. W. and J. H. Banks, Quay, and C. M. Banks, Texarkana, Tex. Mrs. Furr moved from Talihina to Stillwater in 1926 to have the advantages offered by Oklahoma A. and M. college. Misses Frances and Mildred are graduates of the college, and Miss Dorothy is a senior student at the college this year.
