Death

William “Bill” Shannon Furr, 92, of Hot Springs, Arkansas went to be with the Lord November 8, 2020. William was born in Hollis, Arkansas on January 12, 1928 to the late William Hollis Furr and Sadie New Year Gross Furr. William was a Christian man and loved anything outdoors. He was a two time War Veteran and served in War World II and the Korean War. William was predeceased in death by both parents, his late wife, Joyce Darter Furr and by all of his siblings; and son-in-law, Milton Kelley. William is survived by four children all of Hot Springs, Arkansas; sons, David (Ann) Furr and John (Tammy) Furr; daughters, Pam Kelley and Trudy (Gary) Buttrum; six grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by the mother of his four children, Dorathy Mae Scott Furr. Funeral service will be at 9:30 AM, Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home. Burial will be at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery. State of AR COVID-19 directives: Face coverings required. Maintain social distancing.
