Carl Furr of Axis said he was stationed in the Marshall Islands in 1946 where above-water and under-water tests were conducted. Shortly after the tests, he lost all his hair, he said, and since then mysterious ‘‘growths’’ have developed ‘‘all over’’ his body. Furr said he suffers now from ‘‘heart, lung, liver and esophagus trouble.”
