Death
William Z. Furr, 54, died at his residence, 300 West Fairview Avenue, Monday afternoon after a long illness. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Lily M. Furr; and one son, Cecil E. Furr, of this city. Funeral services will be held from White Chapel this afternoon at 2:30 with the Rev. T. C. Casaday officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.The Montgomery Advertiser, Montgomery, Alabama, December 10, 1940
