Death
Thelma Louise Summerall died Sunday, May 23, 1999, at Lake Shore Villas Retirement Home in Temple Terrace, Fla. She was 83. Mrs. Summerall was a former resident of Valley Park and Cary. She was preceded in death by her husband, Odell Summerall; one son, Wayne Summerall; and her parents, Sid and Viola Furr. Survivors include two sons, Jim Summerall of Temple Terrace and Garland “Buddy” Summerall of Chambersburg, Pa.; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Hollandale Cemetery with the Rev. Reese Kyzar officiating. Vocalist will be Emily Carter. Burial will follow under the direction of Glenwood Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Charles Barlow, Bobby Blackwell, Dave Clark, Herbert Clark, Guy Martin, Clifton Porter, Rick Rasmussen and Charles Strong.The Vicksburg Post, Vicksburg, Mississippi, May 25, 1999
