Ann Furr Griggs, 79, of 1326 US 17 North, Windsor, died Friday, May 23, 2008 at Three Rivers Nursing Home.She was born in Stanly County to the late Puehen and Pearl Braswell Furr and was predeceased by her husband, Robah Lee Griggs Jr. Mrs. Griggs was a member of Merry Hill Baptist Church and was a homemaker.The Rev. Michael Bryant will hold graveside funeral services on Sunday at Edgewood Cemetery in Windsor at 3 p.m.Survivors include a daughter, Linda Griggs Elliott of Macon; a brother, Bob Furr of Albemarle; and a half-sister, Brenda Furr of Albemarle.The family will receive friends at the home.
