Death
Final rites for Mrs. Dora Furr, 69, who died of a heart attack at her home on route 2, Albemarle, Wednesday afternoon, will be held Friday morning at 11 o'clock at Anderson Grove Baptist church. The services will be conducted by the pastor Rev. W. J. Russell, assisted by Rev. C. E. Staley, and interment will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Furr had been ill for the past six weeks. She was the widow of WF. M. M. Furr and daughter of the late Joshua and Sarah Morgan. She was born on July 11, 1885. Surviving are three children, Mrs. Jaspar R. Dennis, Henry Furr and Miss Naomi, all of route 9, Albemarle, and four sisters, Mrs. Silas Whitley of Concord and Mrs. Luther Huneycutt, Mrs. John Huneycutt and Mrs. Clyde Huneycutt, all of Stanly county.Stanly News and Press, Albemarle, North Carolina, August 4, 1944
