Death

Mrs. Julia Furr, age 79, of Centerville, died Saturday, January 28, at a Danville Hospital. Mrs. Furr was the wife of Mr Fred Furr Sr. She was a native of Centerville, a daughter of the late Sarah Crow Mitchell and X. Mitchell. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church. Other survivors are a son, Fred Furr Jr. of Centerville; one step son, Burlin Furr of Jonesboro; one step daughter, Mrs. Jewel Lee Morris of Altheimer, and eleven grandchildren. Funeral Services were held at the Centerville Assembly of God Church Monday afternoon at 1:30 with Assembly of God ministers Tom Bentley and Roy Goates Jr. officiating. Internment was at Moore Hill Cemetery. Casket Bearers were Ernest Keeling, Bill Cross, John Keeling, John Nail, George Keeling. Services were in care of the Cornwell Funeral Service.
