Death
Margie LaVon Underwood Harding, 66, of Riverbank died Saturday at her home. Mrs. Harding was a native of McLean, Texas, and had lived in Riverbank since 1990. She was a nurse's aide for many years and primarily worked at HyLond of Fresno Convalescent Hospital. She was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She is survived by her husband, George W. Harding of Riverbank; children, Robert Wayne Furr of Taft, Dale Lynn Furr, Carl Leonard Furr Jr. and Curtis Lee Furr, all of Bakersfield; stepchildren, Iva Johnson, Alice Shropshire and Linda Roberts, all of Modesto, and George Alvin Harding of Ceres; sister, Jewel Geneva Parker of Tupman; and 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Modesto.
