Death
Magnolia, Jan. 17 (Special). — Mrs. Celestia Shirey, 59 years old, died at her home northeast of here Thursday morning after a long illness. Funeral services will be held at Greer’s chapel Friday morning. Surviving are one son, Sherrell Shirey of Magnolia; one daughter, Mrs. George W. Cooley of Summerville, S. C.; two brothers, Asa Furr of McNeil, and Will Furr of Magnolia; two sisters, Mrs. Joel Pittman and Mrs. G. J. Sherrell of Magnolia.The Times, Shreveport, Louisiana, January 18, 1929
