Death
Tyler, Texas, Dee, 7. — Mrs. Florence Flynt, 64 years old, one of the pioneer residents of the Flint community, 10 miles south of Tyler, died at the home of her son, Robert O’Neal Flynt, of Flint. A native of Arkansas, Mrs. Flynt came to Texas early in life, and has lived in the Flint country since. The Rev. J. G. Calhoun of Tyler officiated at the funeral. Besides her son she is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Leta Blunt and Mrs. Eula Pierce, of Walters, Ark., and Mrs. Esther Duke of Tyler; two brothers, Asia Furr, of McNeil, Ark., and Willie Furr, of Hot Springs, Ark., and three sisters, Mrs. Ruth Sherrell, Mrs. Celestia Shirey and Mrs. Adar Pittman, all of Magnolia, Ark.The Times, Shreveport, Louisiana, December 8, 1924
