Mrs. Senie Furr was found dead near her home last Sunday. She had been in bad health for several years, though she seemed to be as well as common on Sunday morning and sent the children off to Sunday school and preaching, and when they returned home they found her in an old field a hundred yards or so from the house dead, had died apparently without a struggle. Her husband, Mr. Wilson Furr, was found dead in his yard several years ago. It was thought by some that a mule colt killed him, though others thought otherwise. .The Concord Times, Concord, North Carolina, April 21, 1898
