Death
Funeral services for Mrs. Lula Furr, 56, of 1605 Del Rancho, were scheduled at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Henry Kinkeade officiating. Interment was to be in Oak Grove Memorial Gardens under the direction of Colonial Funeral Home. Mrs. Furr, a 14 year resident of Irving, died in Amarillo Sunday. She was a native of Denton County, born April 24, 1916. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Her survivors include her husband, John R. Furr; three sons, William Kubicek of Irving, John E. Kubicek of Lake Dallas and Robert W. Kubicek of Plano; two step-sons, Doule Furr of Dallas and David Furr of Irving; a sister, Mrs. Mary Leach of Moab, Utah; six brothers, Bill, Albert, Clem, Paul, George and Edward Lubbers and 11 grandchildren.Irving Daily News, Irving, Texas, May 23, 1972
