Death
FURR, Mrs. Lillian Crowder, age 69, of Ebony, died Sunday, September 21, 2008. She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Scott Furr, and is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Steven and Deborah Furr of Chesterfield, Va. and Paul H. Furr of Beaverdam, Va.; one daughter and son-in-law, CiCi and Robby Carroll of Ebony; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Also surviving is one brother, Willie Lewis Crowder of Richmond, Va. Mrs. Furr was a member of Prospect United Methodist Church and a former employee of CMH. A graveside service will be conducted by Rev. Kenneth Thrasher at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, September 23, 2008, at LaCrosse Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Farrar Funeral Home. Memorial considerations may be directed to Prospect United Methodist Church Building Fund, 1974 Ebony Road, Ebony, Va. 23845. Condolences may be emailed to farrar@msinets.com.
