Background: Native of Oklahoma. Lived in Oakdale most of his life. Laborer for the Contadina cannery Riverbank for nine years. Member Bethel Church, Oakdale. Suvivors: Son, Christopher Furr of Oakdale. Parents, Jesse and Jewell Furr of Oakdale. Four sisters, June Ellis of Oakdale, Robbie Fleming, Betty Genova and Jane Kent, all of Modesto.
