Death
E. Geneva Booher, 90, of Russellville, died Friday, Oct. 21, 2005, at the home of her daughter in Bonham, Texas. A daughter of the late Jesse Gilmore and Clara Elton Taylor, she was born Aug. 17, 1915, in Quanah, Texas. She was the widow of S. Ray Booher, and was also preceded in death by a daughter, Carol Raedean Booher; and two grandchildren, Michael Ray Crouch and Thomas Chaney. She was a former administrative assistant for the Holla Bend Wildlife Refuge, a former member of First Assembly of God Church and attended Life Center. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Don and Barbara Booher of Russellville; a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Kenneth Crouch of Bonham, Texas; a sister, Mae Wantland of Twentynine Palms, Calif.; six grandchildren, Carol Peacock, Raymond Booher, Don Booher Jr., Kim Petree, Kevin Crouch and Franklin Booher; and 12 great-grandchildren, Jacob Peacock, Phillip Booher, John Booher, Michael Petree, Perry Petree, Cayleigh Petree, Maggie Crouch, Joshua Petree, Arielle Petree, Deanna Booher, Eliana Petree and Sarah Booher. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Shinn Chapel by the Rev. Keith Underhill and Kenneth Crouch. Burial will be in Booher Cemetery near Russellville by Shinn Funeral Service. Active pallbearers will be Phillip Booher, Raymond Booher, Don Booher Jr., Franklin Booher, Jacob Peacock, Don Booher, Kenneth Crouch, Lindsey Peacock and Kevin Crouch. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 tonight at the funeral home.Endnotes
