Concord, June 13. — Funeral service for Mrs. M. M. Furr, who died at her home in No. 10 township last Saturday afternoon, was held Monday morning from St, Martin’s Lutheran church. Mrs. Furr was born March 7, 1844, and on August 16, 1860, she was married to Moses M. Furr. To this union was born nine children, seven of whom survive, as follows: Mrs. George C. Shinn, Mrs. Electa Tucker, Mrs. A. P. Widenhouse, D. Henry Furr, Misses Alice, Daisy and Bessie Furr, all of the county.News and Record, Greensboro, North Carolina, June 14, 1933
