Death
Mrs. Louise Gilmore Furr, age 91, of Dillon, South Carolina, died October 27 in Dillon following an extended illness. Graveside services were held Monday, October 30, at 2 p.m. from Sandersville City Cemetery with Rev. Stanley Hartman of First Presbyterian Church, Sandersville, officiating. Mrs. Furr was born In Washington County to the late Richard Hughes Gilmore and Eloise Conner. She was a homemaker and retired school teacher. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church In Dillon and was married to the late Charles Furr. Survivors Include three sisters, Mrs.Ruby Murphy of Sandersville, Mrs. Lula Mears of Nichols, South Carolina and Mrs. MeII (Eva) Page of Mt. Airy, North Carolina; and several nieces and nephews. Lang's Chapel was in charge of the arrangements.Endnotes
