Lillian Pauline FURR
(14 Dec 1914 - 7 Jul 1968)
Dear Unknown Friends: — After reading the letters today I could not resist the temptation to write. I am eleven years old, and am four feet, eight inches tall. I weigh 84 pounds. I have light (bobbed) hair and oodles of freckles. My birthday is December 14. Who is my twin? Do you like to read? Gee! I do. I read everything I can get. Who likes to go to school? I do and am in the seventh grade. I will be glad when school starts. For a pet I have a cat. Which of the funnies do you like best? I like Winnie Winkle, Little Orphan Annie, Moon Mullins and Gasoline Alley. Aren’t you glad Walt and Phyllis got married? I am. What do you suppose will become of Winnie Winkle? Will some of you boys and girls write? I surely will answer every letter I get. Also send photos. Your unknown friend. PAULINE FURR
