Death

Paul K. Furr, 74, died Friday, Feb. 10, 2006, at his residence in Cool. Funeral: Funeral arrangements are pending. Burial: Woodland Park Cemetery. He was born Dec. 24, 1931, in Fort Worth, the son of Willie and Annie Furr. On Oct. 14, 1950, he married his true love of 55 years, Genevieve Lasswell in Palermo, Calif. Paul managed Furr Building Materials for his brother and retired in 1987. He was an active member and supporter of the Mineral Wells Seventh-day Adventist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brothers, Billy J. and Charles V. Furr. Survivors: Wife, Genevieve Furr; son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Brenda Furr; daughters and sons-in-law, Violet and Randy Coleman, Suzan and John LaRance, Marie and Roy Holdridge, and Michelle Neighbors; grandchildren, Brian Furr, April Brown, Paul, Willie and James Coleman, John Paul, Vincent and Natashia LaRance, Tara Tibjla, Sandra Holdridge, Daniel, Matthew, Andrew and Joseph Neighbors; sisters and brothers-in-law, Louise and Ray Glosup, Beverly and Jack James; sister-in-law, Juanita Furr; 12 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; along with many friends and members of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
