She was from around Pontotoc, Mississippi, or maybe Furr. We were told that she may have been adopted, but we have no records, birthday, etc. Her last name was always given as Furr.

She was born into the Ward family, but was adopted along with siblings by one of the Furr families in the Furrs and Bissell areas of MS.
