Death
Troy Jerome Furr Jr. of Palm Beach died Tuesday, Jan. 30, 1996, at a local hospital following an extended illness. He was 54. Mr. Furr had been a resident of Palm Beach since 1980, coming here from Greensboro, N.C. He was the former manager of Sara Frederick’s on Worth Avenue. He is survived by a son, Troy Jerome Furr III of Washington, D.C. A memorial service will be held at noon Thursday at The Episcopal Church of Bethesda-By-The-Sea with the Rev. Robert Pollard III officiating. Quattlebaum-Holleman-Burse Funeral Home, 1201 S.Olive Ave., West Palm Beach, is in charge of arrangements.Palm Beach Daily News, Palm Beach, Florida, January 31, 1996
