Herlon M. "Mike" Fitzgerald, 65, of Gulfport, died Saturday, April 3, 2004 in Gulfport. Mr. Fitzgerald was born in Marfa, Texas. He was a member of First Baptist Church, D'Iberville. Mr. Fitzgerald was a retired insurance salesman. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Nolon Fitzgerald and Cherry Jeanette Furr. Survivors include his wife, Margaret Jean Breland Fitzgerald of Gulfport; three sons, Paul Fitzgerald of Tennessee, Patrick Fitzgerald and his wife, Mandy of Gulfport, and Stacy Fitzgerald of Gulfport; a sister, Rita Tucei of Picayune; three brothers, Nerron Fitzgerald of Tennessee, Jack Fitzgerald of Vancleave, and Gerald Fitzgerald of Sandhill, MS, and three grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 6, 2004 from 6 until 9 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe, Orange Grove Chapel, O'Neal Road. The funeral will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 7, 2004 in the funeral home chapel. A graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m. at the Buffalo Cemetery in Greene County.Published by The Sun Herald on Apr. 6, 2004
