Death
Doris Gwyndola Tucker Furr, 69, of 10780 Mt. Olive Rd., Mt. Pleasant, died at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, March 25, 1999. Her funeral was at 4 p.m. Saturday in Hartsell Funeral Chapel in Concord. The Rev. Wayne Deaton officiated and interment was in Cold Water Baptist Church Cemetery. Born Nov. 23, 1929, in Cabarrus County, she was a daughter of Sophia Louise Lefler Tucker of Concord, who survives, and the late Floyd McKinnon Tucker. She was a nursing assistant at NorthEast Medical Center for 20 years and a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Eugene Furr of Mt. Pleasant; a daughter, Yvonne Shoulders of Mt. Pleasant; her mother, Louise Lefler Tucker of Concord; and two grandchildren.
