ALBEMARLE — Mrs. Lenna Frick Furr, 79 of 1725 Sunset Ave. died Wednesday at 10:30 pm in Stanly Memorial Hospital after being in declining health for several years. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday in Stanly Funeral Home Memorial Chapel conducted by the Rev. Jim Yow and the Rev. Richard Gratz. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home tonight from 7 to 9 o'clock. Born Aug 29, 1901 in Stanly county, Mrs. Furr was a daughter of the late James and Laura Henley Frick. She was a housewife and a member of Tabernacle United Methodist Church. Her husband, Clyde C. Furr, died in 1960. Survivors include seven brothers, Alpheus and Riley Frick, both of Durham, Arnold and Clement Frick, both of Albemarle, Claude Frick of High Point, Melvin Frick of Kannapolis and Dewey Frick of Charlotte, two sisters, Mrs. Maude Lindsay of Raleigh and Mrs. A. D. Poplin of Route 2, Norwood.Endnotes
