Death
CONCORD, Oct. 25. — Funeral was held at the home this afternoon at 4:30 o’clock for Henry William Furr, 67, who died Sunday at his home after an illness of two months. Rev. J. W. Fowler, Jr., pastor of Kerr Street Methodist church, and Rev. H. M. Wilson, pastor of Bayless Memorial Presbyterian church, conducted the rites, and burial was made in Oakwood cemetery. Fifty-two years ago Mr. Furr was married to Miss Maggie Eudy, who survives along with two sons, W. L. Furr, of Concord, and R. F. Furr, of Danville, Va.News and Record, Greensboro, North Carolina, October 26, 1943
