HIGH POINT — Mrs. Lula Davis Furr, 93, of 1111 Adams St. died Friday in Wesleyan Arms Inc. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday at Sechrest Funeral Home Chapel, with Dr, William G. Guthrie officiating. Burial will be in Floral Garden Park Cemetery. A native of Randolph County, she had lived in High Point most of her life and was a member of High Point Friends Meeting. Surviving are husband, John C. Furr; son, John Richard Furr of Rt. 1, High Point; brother, William T. Davis of Glenola. The family will be at the funeral home 7-8:30 p.m. today. Memorials may be made to the High Point Friends Meeting or to one’s favorite charity.News and Record, Greensboro, North Carolina, January 8, 1978
