Death

Juanita Jean Wooton, 88 years young, was called home by her Heavenly Father and by her loved ones waiting there for her on October 5, 2016. Juanita never met a stranger and was blessed with a love for all. Juanita's life was centered around church. She had such a giving heart and open arms. Her willingness to love was equal only to her DESIRE to love and her commitment to finding the best in everyone she met. We, as her family, were so blessed to call her our own. Juanita is preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Jessie Wooton; her parents, Walter and Etta Mae Furr; two sisters, Betty Flore Freeman and Mary Lee Marsh; one brother, James (JL) Furr; son-in-law Dwain Nash; one grandson and 2 great-grandchildren. She is survived by sister Darlene Camble and sister LaNadene Sorrell and brother-in-law James Sorrell, all of Seminole, Oklahoma; her son and her daughter-in-law, Jessie and Darlene Wooton of Visalia; a daughter Geneva Nash; granddaughter, Tiffany Fahrni and husband Doug of Visalia; a grandson, Shawn Wooton of Visalia; four great-granddaughters, Kyleey Wooton, Kelsi and Briley Fahrni all of Visalia and Isabella Wooton of Oregon, plus nieces and nephews. Juanita and husband farmed for years in the Shaffer, Wasco and Earlimart areas. They later came to Farmersville where they owned a burger drive-in. They became owners of Jolly Kone in Visalia for 32 years and for the last 15 years, Juanita and daughter Geneva owned Java Express in Porterville. Family will receive friends at Hadley-Marcom Funeral Chapel where our loving Juanita is resting, located at 1700 W. Caldwell Ave., Visalia, on Monday, October 10, 2016 from 4:00PM-8:00PM. A graveside service will be held at 11:00AM at Wasco Cemetery on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at Hwy 46 & Leonard, Wasco, CA.
