Death
CONCORD Mrs. Ardis Hatley Bennett of Hwy 73 E., passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at Tucker Hospice House. A graveside service was held Saturday morning, July 7, at Oakwood Cemetery. Ardis was born Oct. 27, 1924 in Stanly County to the late William G. "Dean" Hatley and Magnolia Furr Hatley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy L. Bennett; daughter, Stephanie V. Bennett; and by three sisters. Ardis is survived by her brother, Gerald Hatley of Albemarle; three nephews and four nieces. Online condolences may be left at wilkinsonfuneralhome. com.
