Death

Calvin R. Davis, 77, of Camden died Saturday at the Ouachita Nursing and Rehab Center. Mr. Davis was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during World War II and the Korean conflict. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Furr Davis of Camden, son, Ronnie Davis and wife; Connie of Camden, daughter, Mitzi Mosier and husband, Jim of Sherwood, sisters; Bertha Davis of Hampton and Ida Mae Health of Harrell, three grandchildren; Jinger Solak of Cape Code, MA, Staci Hicks of Eglin AFB, FL, and Katelynn Mosier of Jonesboro, two great granddaughters; Karli and Rhiannon Solak, one great great grandson; Dylan Hicks. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 P.M. Monday. Funeral services will be 3:00 P.M. Monday at Proctor Funeral Home Chapel with Earl Faye Johnson and Steve Chambliss officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeside Cemetery under the direction of Proctor Funeral Home.
