Death
Funeral services for Mrs. John I. Efird, 55, of Route 2, Stanfield, were held Tuesday at Love's Grove Methodist Church in Stanly County. Mrs. Efird was a daughter of Mrs. Lexie Arey Furr and the late Durant Furr of Stanly County. Her first husband, Henry Misenheimer, died 24 years ago. Her second husband, John L. Efird, survives. Surviving are two sons, Carl Misenheimer of Concord and Buren Efird of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Stewart Rogers of Davidson; five step-sons, Lloyd and Charlie Efird, both of Midland, Everett Efird of Stanfield, Clyde Efird of Burlington and J. L Efird of Winston-Salem; one step-daughter, Miss Hazel Efird of Stanfield; three sisters, Mrs. J. W. Tarleton of Stanfleld, Mrs. Boyd Crimington and Mrs. Floyd Smith, both of Concord; three brothers, Ralph, Lonzo and Wilbur Furr, all of Concord.Endnotes
