Death

Norma Henrie Reich of Provo, UT, 92, passed away peacefully at her home on February 24. She was born July 15, 1909 in Panguitch, UT, to James Arthur and Agatha Manetta Prince Henrie. In 1930, Norma married Carl J. Furr. She was later married to John Thurman Russell. In 1962 she married Edward Reich who died in 1996. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, James Arthur Henrie, Jr., Portland, OR., and Danton Henrie, Cedar City, Utah, and two great-grand children. Norma owned and operated Norma's China Closet in Provo for more than 25 years. She loved beautiful china and gifts. She never had idle hands and was skilled in all types of handwork. She particularly loved her bridge club, craft club, and literary club friends with whom she associated for more than thirty years. Norma is survived by four children: Karl J. Furr (Diane) of Orem, UT, Paul A. Furr (Merlene) of St. George, UT; James Bruce Furr (Ruth) of Vienna, VA and Tamaree Littlefield of Provo, UT; 14 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren and three sisters; Hilma Honeyman, of Provo, UT, Valda Johnson, of Kanab, UT, Cecil Pomeroy, of Mesa, AZ. Friends and family may gather at 10 a.m. Wednesday, February 27 at the Edgemont 12th Ward, 2950 N. Canyon Rd., Provo, UT. Memorial services will begin at 11 a.m.
