Death
Laura Esther Furr, 93, south-central Kansas City, died June 14, 1992, at the home. Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Newcomer's Floral Hills Chapel; burial in Floral Hills Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel. The family requests no flowers and suggests contributions to Hospice Care of the Visiting Nurse Association. Mrs. Furr was born in Rodney, Miss., and lived in Kansas City most of her life. She was a member of the Santa Fe Hills Baptist Church. Survivors include a son. Marvin R. Furr, Kansas City, two daughters, Merle Davis of the home and Juanita McClaskey, Cole Camp, Mo., a brother, John Toler, Vicksburg, Miss., a sister, Thelma Thompson, Jackson.
