Death
PICAYUNE — Services were to be held at 2 p.m. today at the New Palestine Basptist (sic) Church for Hollis Rowan Furr Jr., 59, who died Saturday at Lucius Olen Crosby Memorial Hospital. Dr. DeLaughter was to officiate. Interment was to be in the church cemetery. Mr. Furr was a member of the New Palestine Baptist Church. He was a heavy equipment operator and had served in the armed forces. Survivors include his wife, Louise Carlisle Furr; two sons, Hollis R. Furr III and Sidney A. Furr, both of Picayune; two daughters, Mrs. Barbara C. Roberts of New Orleans, La., and Miss Julia Ann Furr of Picayune; and three grand- children.
