Death
HAMMOND Audrey Jewel Brand, 83, a resident of Bogalusa, died Sunday in North Oaks Medical Center in Hammond. She is survived by two daughters, Judy Copeland of Austin, Texas, and Betty Bryan of Covington; a son, Michael Brand of Bogalusa; two sisters, Eugenia Corkern of Charlotte, NC and Maude Brooks of Springfield; six grandchildren, Kelly Brand, Katie Collins, Teri Brown, Traci Bryan, Mark Davis, and Kristy Davis; and a great-grandchild, Tre' Collins. Preceding her in death was her husband, Clarence Anthony Brand; and her parents, William Furr and Lilly Merritt Furr. Visitation will be held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home today from 5:30-8 p.m. The funeral service will be held tomorrow at 11 a.m. with Dr. Waylon Bailey officiating. Interment will follow in Ponemah Cemetery.Endnotes
