Death
Billy Jack Little, 72, of DeLand, FL passed away Monday, Dec. 29, 2008 at his residence. Billy was born on July 6, 1936 in Concord, NC and moved to this area from his birthplace in 1985. He served in the United States Air Force. Billy was a member of the American Legion Post 6 in DeLand, FL, the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, AMVETS, and the Moose Lodge. Billy enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He is predeceased by his father, Edward Glenn Little. Billy is survived by his mother, Irene Furr Little of Harrisburg, NC; sons, Dana Little and Gary Little, both of Concord, NC; brothers, A.F. Felchel Little, E.V. Edward Vernon Little, and C.F. Buck Little all of Concord, NC; and three grandchildren. A memorial service celebration for Billy will be held at the First Baptist Church of Barberville (137 East Broad St. Barberville, FL 32105) on Sunday, Jan. 4, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Jimmy Dean officiating.Published in the Daytona Beach News-Journal on 12/31/2008
