Death
BADIN -- Nancy Carolyn Furr McRae, 65, 138 Maple St., died Monday (Aug. 19, 2002)at NorthEast Medical Center, Concord. Born July 16, 1937, in Stanly County, Mrs. McRae was a daughter of Myrtle Pauline Teece, Albemarle, and the late Horace Jasper Furr. She worked as a stripe setter at E.J.Snyder and Co. Survivors, in addition to her mother, include daughters Tina McRae DeVore, Albemarle, and Lori Lowder, Mount Gilead; brother Donnie Ray Furr, Greensboro; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Graveside services were held this morning at Fairview Memorial Park, Albemarle. The Rev. Steve Tucker officiated. Visitation was held at Hartsell Funeral Home, Albemarle, on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. The family is at the home on Maple Street.Endnotes
