KANNAPOLIS, NC Jewel Margaret Furr Isenhour, 82, of 308 S. Rose Avenue, Kannapolis, NC, died September 14, 2005 at Five Oaks Nursing Center in Concord, NC. Born January 9, 1923 in Cabarrus County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Jacob E. and Annie Ballard Furr. She was retired from Cannon Mills Company Sheet Department, and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Concord. She is survived by her husband, George H. Isenhour; two daughters, Betty Richardson and husband Gerald of Rock Hill, SC, and Patty Harris and husband Bob of Duluth, GA; four grandsons, Wayne Richardson and wife, Lisa of Chapel Hill, NC, Bobby Harris and wife Deanne of Braselton, GA, Chris Harris and wife Selena of Hoschton, GA, and Brad Harris and wife Heather of Hoschton, GA; eight great-grandchildren, Travin, Margo, and Ellie Richardson, Jordan and Nicholas Harris, Megan, Brad and Katlin Harris; a brother, Bob Furr and wife Janet of Myrtle Beach; and two sisters, Carolyn Goldston of Matthews, NC and Phyllis Yoder of Winter Springs, FL. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Shane Richardson; two sisters, Betty Davis and Bernice Furr; and a brother, J.E. Furr, Jr. The family will receive friends Friday evening, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Whitleys Funeral Home, Kannapolis, NC. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Concord, NC officiated by Rev. Ray Moss. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Cabarrus County, P.O. Box 1235, Concord, NC 28026; or to Trinity Lutheran Church, 3747 Trinity Church Road, Concord, NC 28027.
