CONCORD - Funeral’ services for Louis James Furr, 34, of Baltimore, Md., will be held this afternoon at 4:30 o'clock at White Parks Baptist Church and burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. The Rev. J. C. Furr will have charge of services, assisted by the Rev. Frank Miller and the Rev. S. G. Farrington. Born in Cabarrus county Sept. 28, 1920, Furr is survived by his mother, Mrs. Blanche Cullens Furr of 21 Howerton street. The body will be taken from Weddington-Mitchell Funeral Home to the church where it lie in services.
