Elizabeth Akers was born in 1802 in Leafield, Oxfordshire, England (but one census record suggests a date as early as 1800). She married Nathaniel Lardner on 27 May 1831 at Shipton under Wychwood, Oxfordshire. Together, they had five children prior to his death in 1854. Elizabeth survived him, dying Jul-Sep 1864 in Witney, Oxfordshire.
